JiaTao I am an assistant professor of Computer Science at The College of New Jersey. Before joining the College of New Jersey, I was a visiting assistant professor of Computer Science at Bryn Mawr College. I completed my baccalaureate degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University in China and earned my Ph.D in Computer Science at Iowa State University.

My research involves various areas in Computer Science such as MultiLevel Security Databases, semantics for Object-Oriented programming languages, Game Theory and Artificial Intelligence. I am mainly interested in Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, especially in using logical approaches to model real world phenomena, such as secrecy/privacy preserving reasoning and budget-constrained knowledge. I also collaborate with students and researchers from other disciplines to conduct research in life science data.
